  1. We had a very informative visit - full of information about stamps we already had and he also sold 1st class stamps at a much reduced price all very helpful in this day and age. Certainly worth a visit. Lincolnshire 18th Sept

  2. Knowing nothing about stamps and having recently lost my mother to cancer, I needed a valuation of my father's stamp collection (he passed away 10 years ago) for probate purposes. I rang Gustamps and he agreed to do a free valuation estimate the same day. The dealer quickly reviewed the two cases of stamps, and provided the estimate, while dealing with other customers calling in to the shop and offering them good advice and service. Most of the stamps in my father's collection were of low value, a few were of interest but in poor condition. Gustamps advised the price he would pay for those of value and offered to provide free advice to maximise the value of the remainder on the usual online auction site. Excellent service in a wonderful shop surrounded by stamps of all sorts.

  3. I had the opportunity to stop by Gus's storefront in Brighton and learned more about numismatics in a half hour speaking with gus than I had in my entire life. This gentleman is a great authority on stamps and was very polite and helpful.

  10. Gus' shop is easy to get to in central Brighton. When I telephoned him to see if I could visit him the following day to look at my stamp album, he was very happy to accommodate me. I found Gus to be very friendly and helpful, and hugely knowledgeable about stamps. Although my school-girl stamp album turned out not to be very valuable, Gus was still very generous with his time. He gave me some very good advice about how to sell my album on e-Bay, and how to present and accurately describe it. He also gave me an approximate value for the album in case I decided to donate it to charity.
